Eighty Queen Street

EIGHTY QUEEN STREET is one of Edinburgh's few remaining family-owned bar and restaurants. Howard and Pamela Fowler established Eighty Queen Street in November 2001 and their son, Andrew Fowler, runs the business on their behalf. The friendly staff and warm atmosphere of the bar truly enhances the family-run feel of Eighty Queen Street. There are no secrets to our success - high standards and quality speak for themselves.

Discreetly located at the West End of Queen Street, you will find one of Edinburgh's best kept secrets. Elegant, stylish, relaxed and friendly, Eighty Queen Street is a bar and restaurant with a difference.  It boasts two distinct classic bars in which to enjoy fine traditional and contemporary cuisine, as well as an excellent selection of quality wines, spirits and ales.

EIGHTY QUEEN STREET is proud to offer something refreshingly different from the modern, style-bars in the city centre. Not concerned with image or trend, Eighty Queen Street concentrates on doing things traditionally well.

Despite being primarily a restaurant and bar, Eighty Queen Street has established itself as being Edinburgh's  top Jazz Music venue, playing the best live local talent around. See our listings for more details.

With its leather armchairs and cosy booths, the main bar is perfect for a business lunch, intimate dinner a deux or simply a relaxed drink with friends.

Our modish candle-lit Cellar Bar offers and alternative ambience for diners and can accommodate dining parties of up to 50 people, and private functions up to 100 people.  Open to the public on Friday and Saturday evening, the Cellar Bar is transformed into a Jazz Cellar, featuring some of Scotland's top jazz musicians, singers and bands.

A welcoming smile, complemented by quality food and select live jazz, makes Eighty Queen Street the ideal place to drink and dine.
